Introduction

International Sculpture Symposium has been taking place in Zielonka Forest Landscape Park, Poland since 2007. Initiated by Grayna Szymaa-Woyska, the symposium was organised annually until 2015 when it became a biannual event. Surrounded by spectacular woods, beautiful lakes and picturesque fields, artists create wood sculptures which are later presented to the public on site and in other locations. So far the exhibitions took place at Pozna International Fair, Archeological Museum in Pozna, Botanical Garden in Pozna, Museum Castle Grkw in Szamotuy, Pozna University of Life Sciences, Malta Lake in Pozna as well as in Yvetot, France. During United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2008, the exhibition also took place at the Palm House in Pozna, one of the biggest institutions of this kind in Europe.
